Currently Offered by the CCTL
5 Stand
- 5 Athletes on the line at a time (referred to as Squad), one per stand.
- Each athlete will shoot their prescribed clays as indicated on the menu in front of them. (Each stand has a unique menu.)
- After verifying each gun is unloaded and pointed in a safe direction, squad rotates clockwise to the next stand.
- Process is repeated until each shooter has gone through all 5 stations.
- 25 total shots per round. 2 rounds per Match. (50 shots total)
- At least 1 coach, 1 Puller, and 1 score keeper on hand at all times to monitor activities and safety.
- Perfect marriage between Sporting Clays and Trap.
Sporting Clays
- Athletes grouped with 4 other shooters, for a total of 5 per squad.
- Each squad will shoot 10 unique stations, 5 targets at each station. ( Total of 50 shots.)
- After verifying each gun is unloaded and pointed in safe direction, squad to the next station.
- At least 1 coach on hand at all times to monitor activities and safety.
- Must use a shotgun capable of firing 2 shots in succession. (Single-shot trap guns will not work)
Trap
- 5 Athletes on the line at a time (referred to as Squad)
- Squad leader takes the first shot at the first bird and rotates through each member of the squad until all 5 Athletes have shot their 5 shots.
- After verifying each gun is unloaded and pointed in safe direction, squad rotates clockwise to next station.
- Process is repeated until each shooter has gone through all 5 stations.
- 25 total shots per round. 2 rounds per Match. (50 shots total)
- At least 1 coach, 1 Puller, and 1 score keeper on hand at all times to monitor activities and safety.
